Cancer patients only
The following infomation is essential for any CyberKnife Centre to be able to assess your case. If you cannot complete this yourself please ask your doctor for assistance
Number of tumours
Maximum tumour size (cm)
First name*
If you have a number of tumours and you know that some are too large for CyberKnife but you still wish for one or more others to be assessed, please state the number and maximum size of the tumour(s) that you wish assessed for CyberKnife and provide further information in the Medical Condition box above.
Please note that CyberKnife is a very fine and precise treatment and it is best suited to small, well-defined, early stage tumours. In some cases time can be of the essence so if you are facing difficulties or delays in obtaining scans you may consider obtaining an additional scan. Many private scanning centres now offer this facility to patients directly.
For information on private scanning centres visit the Obtaining and Submitting Scans page and follow the link for your country.
Select a CyberKnife Centre
Each CyberKnife Centre that we represent has its own page on this web site or you can download the MHL CyberKnife Guide and read about it there.
Please read these carefully and then select which Centre(s) you wish to apply to. We cannot forward enquiries which.fall outside the guidelines set for us by each centre.
Please submit my enquiry to the following Centre(s)    Select up to three Centres.
France, Lyon:  Centre Léon Bérard
United Kingdom, London (Northwood):  Mount Vernon Cancer Centre
Germany, Munich: European CyberKnife Centre
Greece, Athens: Iatropolis CyberKnife Centre
India, Bangalore:  HealthCare Global
Switzerland, Zurich:  Radiotherapie Hirslanden
We await details from the centres below, but you can also select one additional centre from this list:
If the CyberKnife Centre(s) which I have selected cannot accept enquiries for my stated condition please send my details to any other CyberKnife Centre.
Please note that uveal melanoma cases can only be passed to the CyberKnife Centres in Güstrow or Munich.
Proton therapy
X-ray beams pass through the body, affecting all tissue before and after the tumour, hence the advantage of CyberKnife in localising this impact so far as possible.
Proton therapy uses beams of protons (hydrogen ions) which have lower impact before the tumour and almost none beyond it. Radiation is concentrated within the tumour, so higher doses can be applied and there is less risk of radiation-induced cancers later in life, especially for children. Read more about proton therapy.
Proton therapy treats most CyberKnife indications, plus some which CyberKnife cannot treat, including larger tumours. As yet there are few active centres, but MHL works with proton therapy centres in Germany (Munich) and the USA (Chicago, New Jersey and Oklahoma) and we are in discussion with centres in Japan.
Note: due to very high construction costs, proton therapy can be considerably more expensive than CyberKnife radiosurgery but European Union patients may be eligible for S2 (was E112) treatment in Germany.
To select a proton therapy centre yourself please use our multi-centre Proton Therapy Enquiry Form.
Please pass my enquiry to any proton therapy centre at MHL's discretion.
Other specialist treatment centres
Sometimes MHL can also pass your enquiry to or suggest one or more specialist centres which offer different forms of treatment, which we think may be helpful or more appropriate for your stated medical condition. This is not a recommendation, but it may be an alternative that you are not currently aware of.
Please pass my enquiry to any other specialist treatment centre at MHL's discretion.

Please note that we cannot process incomplete forms. CyberKnife targets a limited number of precise and well-defined locations so the Centres provide us with strict criteria for submitting patient applications.
The Enquiry Form below provides the minimum essential information which any CyberKnife Centre(s) will need to assess your case. If you cannot complete all items, e.g. tumour size and number please ask your doctor to help you.
If asking your doctor for help please print this Enquiry Page and also take with you our MHL Letter to Doctors. You doctor may also take over the CyberKnife enquiry on your behalf. To assist with claims on health insurers (private or government) we suggest that you download our MHL Letter to Insurers.
Communications
We regret that we are unable to enter into telephone discussion. We handle enquires from around the world in all time zones and daily volumes can be very high, especially following media and celebrity endorsements. This is one reason why many CyberKnife Centres do not respond to direct contact from patients, but by using this enquiry service you gain access to top centres without commitment and have your case assessed promptly and efficiently.
As part of our service we send you occasional notifications of new CyberKnife treatments as they become available and new Centres to which we can refer patients. If you wish to stop receiving these you can unsubscribe at any time. We will not pass your details to third parties except in connection with this enquiry.
Internet and e-mail are used to ensure that enquiries are handled rapidly and efficiently, however these are not secure media and we shall not be responsible for information which may be accessed without authorisation or fails to arrive. By contacting us in this way patients or doctors indicate their agreement with us that the avoidance of unnecessary delay for patients with serious medical conditions outweighs any such small risks.
Spam filters
E-mails from unfamiliar sources may be blocked by your spam filter. If you do not receive a reply from us or your chosen centre, check your spam or junk mail box in case it has been intercepted in this way.
Important note to all patients
Medilux Healthcare Ltd. may discuss with patients and their doctors in general terms their potential suitability of CyberKnife or other treatment for a stated condition but we do not examine or diagnose patients or conduct tests or analysis, nor are we authorised to commit any CyberKnife centre, hospital or other treatment centre to any specific outcome or precise costing or timing of treatment or to enter into any formal or informal agreement on their behalf. Patients enter into a contract with each centre directly and we will not be liable in any way for the success, failure or other outcome of any treatment or failure to treat or for the accuracy of diagnosis given.
